Once we have received your order:
Our scanning schedule aims to cover each area of the country on a two-week cycle, so we will aim to book your patient in for their scan within two weeks of receiving your referral form – depending on the patient’s availability
We contact the patient to arrange the date and time of their scan –  We require level, preferably off-road parking to carry out the scan.
After the scan has been taken, the operator will check the scans quality and will then be sent immediately to you via a portal system.  In order to view the scan which comes in DICOM format, you will need to make sure you have downloaded the software 360 visualise
We normally get payment direct from the patient.  If the GDP wishes to pay for the scan a BACS transfer is required prior to the day of scanning or a cheque/card payment on the day.
If the patient is to wear a barium sulphate stent for the scan, we advise that the stent be fitted prior to scanning to ensure the correct fit.
We will contact your practice once we have arranged the scan, with the date and time.
